TRACEY Phillips vive em Melbourne, Austrália, onde nasceu e cresceu, com exceção do período de dois anos em que esteve em Amphitheatre, um lugar com 200 pessoas (eram mais as ovelhas e as vacas que os residentes). Há vários anos atrás decidiu dedicar-se exclusivamente à arte (pintura figurativa), preparando-se para abrir com o seu companheiro, também artista, uma galeria. Um dia espera visitar o nosso país e conhecer o Porto.

I was born in Melbourne Australia in 1971.

2 –  Up to the present day in which cities you lived permanently?

I grew up in Melbourne Australia and have lived in a very small town called Amphitheatre in the goldfields of Victoria for 2 years. The population of her town is only 200 people. There are many more sheep and cows than people.

3 – Academic qualifications?

I decided to change careers and focus on her art several years ago. I has been in several exhibitions in Australia and has sold works all over the world.
I and my partner are both artists who are opening their own gallery on their property very soon.

5 – The place where you born and live influenced your artistic life? If so, why?

I am a figurative artist and paints as well as printmaking mostly nude women.

6 – When you think in Porto (Portugal) remember immediately what?

I have not yet visited Portugal but hopes to travel one day.

7 – Have you ever visited Porto? If so, why and what do you think of the city?
