JASMINA Petrovic é designer textil. Nasceu em Gornji Milanovac, Sérvia. Antes de residir em Savinac, já viveu de modo permanente em Beograd e na terra natal. Diz que foi influencida pelos lugares por onde passou, em especial a vila de Savinac onde cresceu no meio da natureza e usufruiu da sensação de liberdade. Foi um experiência muito importante, pois despertou-lhe o espírito de aventura, a imaginação e o amor pelos animais. Jasmina não tem referências sobre a cidade do Porto, mas sim do país, mais propriamente de Fernando Pessoa, de Marvão e da Quinta da Regaleira. O que já não é mau.

14.09.1982, Gornji Milanovac, Serbia.

2 –  Up to the present day in which cities you lived permanently?

Beograd, Gornji MIlanovac and a village Savinac.

3 – Academic qualifications?

The college of textile- design, technology and management.

4 – Professional activity?

Textile designer.

5 – The place where you born and live influenced your artistic life? If so, why?

Yes, especially Savinac – because of beautiful nature and feeling of freedom. I grow up in countryside and that is very precious experience – it brought me so many possibilities, and awakened my adventurous spirit, and it also increased my imagination and my love for animals.

6 – When you think in Oporto (Portugal) remember immediately what?

I’ve never been in Oporto, but when I think of Portugal first things that come to my mind is Fernando Pessoa, Marvão, Quinta Da Regaleiera…

7 – Have you ever visited Porto? If so, why and what do you think of the city?

No, but in my next visit to Portugal I will for sure.

8 – Your address in the web/blogosphere to follow you?

I’m only have e-mail and facebook profile, because I don’t like to spend much time in front of  computer.
